Have born on Sept., 15, 1929 in Saratov, RUSSIA.
Graduated from Saratov State Univesity in 1952.
In 1952-1957 worked in Siberian Branch of All-Union Scientific Research Geological Institute (Tomsk, Russia).
From 1957 is working in Siberian Scientific Research Institute of Geology, Geophysics and Mineral Primary Rocks (Novosibirsk, Russia).
PhD thesis: "Stratigraphy, Oilbearing and Foulness of the Devonian Scrufts of the South-Minusinsk Trough" defended in 1961 in Tomsk Polytechnic Institute (Tomsk, Russia).

Main scientific interests:

1. Stratigraphy of rugose and platform regoins of Siberia in the Middle Palaeozoic;
2. Historical Geology of the Middle Palaeozoic;
3. Now with PhD V.N.Dubatolov is studying palaeogeography of the Middle Palaeozoic of Siberia, mainly of its western regions; developing palaeobiogeography zoning of seas of Eurasia in the Devonian; assigning of climatic zone and the Line (Equator) position.
