Distribution: Western Europe, Asia Minor, Georgia, SE Kazakhstan, N Kyrghyzstan (Milko, 1999), Mongolia, China (Taiwan), Japan: Hokkaido, Honshu; North America. Russia: European part, N Caucasus, Siberia to Chukotka Peninsula and Kamchatka, N Primorye, Southern Kuriles: Kunashir (Tobias, 1978; Kurzenko, 1995; Dubatolov, 1998). Additional information on the site of Prof. J.Kojima. D. a. montivaga Sk. Yamane, 1982 occur in Kunashir and Japan (Kurzenko, 1995).

Note: the species was recorded also from Buryatia, Kamchatka, Chukotka, N part of Primorskii Krai (Kurzenko, 1995).
