Distribution: N Africa, Western Europe, north to 57º N in Baltia (Pekkarinen, Gustaffson, 1999), Ukraine, Asia Minor, Near East, Caucasus, Iran, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tadzhikistan, Kyrghyzstan, Kazakhstan, W Mongolia. Russia: southern regions of European Russia, N Caucasus, southern regions of West Siberia.

Known localities: Russia: Orenburg Province (not shown on map!): Chalk Hills in 10 km W from Troitsk (south from River Ilek); Altaiskii Krai, Klyuchi. NE Kazakhstan: Kurchum Range (Dubatolov, 1998).
